Introducing the MindMate Lessons
Commissioned and funded by the South & East CCG, the MindMate Lessons are part of “Future in Mind: Leeds - A strategy to promote the social, emotional, mental health and wellbeing of children and young people aged 0 – 25 years.
The MindMate lessons are a brand new and exciting scheme of work to teach young people about Social, Emotional and Mental Health in schools. The lessons are web based and interactive, using a range of strategies and resources to support good mental health and wellbeing. All the lessons teach key emotional literacy skills, which have been identified as promoting resilience and are identified in NICE guidance as effective.
The training will look at how to implement and deliver the lessons in your setting.
Delegates will gain a thorough understanding of the MindMate Curriculum and how to deliver it in their own setting. They will develop an awareness of the value of teaching SEMH to their pupils and the positive impact this can have.
A chance to ‘have a go’ at using this fantastic new resource!
