The West Yorkshire Youth Commission are looking for a diverse group of young people from different backgrounds and life experiences to take part, including those who have direct experience of the issues or are part of traditionally underrepresented groups. This is a good opportunity for young people to gain new knowledge, skills and experiences that focuses on listening to the views of young people in West Yorkshire.
Members of the Youth Commission will play an important role in helping to run consultation events and gather the opinions of other young people. They will work directly with the Deputy Mayor for Crime and Policing and the director of the Violence Reduction Partnership.
