We provide a number of training courses throughout the year suitable for all staff in school. Our courses are available to any school and are delivered either virtually or face to face in Leeds. We also have a number of eLearning modules available. All our training is bookable via LeedsforLearning.co.uk.

On demand: Virtual Youth Mental Health First Aid Aware Training (half day training - online)

Raise your awareness of young people’s mental health and become certified as Youth Mental Health First Aid Aware- bespoke training for between 8 and 16 colleagues.

  • Course type: Full day
  • Audience: This course is suitable for anyone working with or supporting children and young people aged over 8. This course is also available and suitable for Leeds City Council employees.

On demand: Youth Mental Health First Aid - Champion (1 Day Course - Face to Face)

Bespoke training for your setting to enable staff to become certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Champions.

  • Audience: This course is suitable for anyone working with or supporting children and young people from the ages of 8-18 years.

On demand: Youth Mental Health First Aid training (2 day course- Face to Face) - From 01/04/2025

Bespoke in-school two day training course to qualify your staff members as Youth Mental Health First Aiders

  • Course type: Full day
  • Audience: The Youth MHFA course is for anyone who works with, lives with, or supports young people aged 8-18 years old.

  • Course type: Full day
  • Audience: This course is suitable for anyone working or interacting with Children and Young People from the ages of 8-18 years.

Playground Support Session

A quick-fix session working with your young leaders to develop their confidence and skills in leading active play. A member of the team will come into school to work with a selected group of children over the course of a morning to explore some simple games which they can then lead on a daily basis.
