Aesthetics can be a concerning business, especially for young people.

An awareness raising session on the significant risks associated with certain aesthetic treatments that young people need to be aware of.

Details

This one-hour interactive awareness session, provided by West Yorkshire Trading Standards, covers everything young people need to know about cosmetic fillers and Botox treatments.

The aesthetics industry is huge but largely unregulated, allowing unscrupulous practitioners to exploit young people's lack of awareness about the serious risks involved with treatments. West Yorkshire Trading Standards will explain the law, highlight the dangers and support staff to help students make safer choices for themselves.

Outcome

By the end of the session you will have a deeper understanding of the unattractive side of the aesthetics business, the risk it poses and why it is essential for young people to be informed
